COLONIE -- Two Albany County men and a Saratoga Springs woman have been arrested in connection with a Colonie smoke shop robbery, police said.

The incident happened Oct. 3 at Up in Smoke, 889 New Loudon Road. The clerk told police two masked came into the business and ordered her into the bathroom. They then took her phone, the store phone and a cash bag containing about $450, police said. No weapons were displayed, and the clerk was not injured.

When the clerk emerged from the bathroom, the robbers had gone. But a witness contacted police about a suspicious vehicle seen fleeing the area.

Police soon found the vehicle, unoccupied, on Western Avenue. Upon further investigation, police identified three suspects, police said.

Ty-Jaan A. King, 24, of 11 Edison Ave., Albany; and Mackenzie N. Haynes, 22, of 1 Julians Way, Saratoga Springs turned themselves in Wednesday. Police arrested Jorge K. Colon 23, of 101 Stone Ridge Court, Altamont, on Monday.

They face one count each of second-degree robbery, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor. King also faces a felony criminal mischief count, and Haynes was charged with misdemeanor criminal nuisance.
