On Oct. 12 at about 5:30 p.m. at the Stewart’s Shop on Route 29 in Broadalbin, a kind lady observed my wife (who is coping with dementia) and I at the counter paying for our milk when my wife abruptly darted out the front door.
I quickly caught up with her and was having difficulty retaining her. I needed to get back to the counter and finish the purchase.
Fortunately, a very kind lady stepped up, completed our purchase and handed us the milk, which was a tremendous help during this dementia moment.
I talked with the lady briefly and thanked her.
Unfortunately, I did not ask her name.
I’m grateful for the kindness and quick action shown by such a wonderful person.
We wish the kind lady well and know good things will come her way.
