SCHENECTADY - The New York State Attorney General Friday released video and audio recorded of the events leading to the in-custody death of Andrew Kearse in Schenectady last year.

The video, along with a report, was released as a grand jury cleared city officer Mark Weekes of wrongdoing in Kearse's death. The Attorney General, however, recommended systemic changes in how medical emergencies with those in custody are treated.

The Attorney General synchronized available audio and video to put together the below presentation.

Kearse family members and supporters have asked that the video and audio be released so the public could see how Kearse died. His widow has previously released a portion of the audio.

Warning: The below video depicts events leading up to the death of Andrew Kearse. He was pronounced dead at Ellis Hospital.
