In its new format, Breeders’ Cup weekend begins with all five 2-year-old races Friday and nine on Saturday.

Here are today’s selections for the races at Churchill Downs.

Juvenile Turf Sprint
SO PERFECT: Irish filly taking on colts was second by a half-length vs. fillies in a Group I then third by three-quarters of a length in a Group I vs. colts.

SOLDIER’S CALL: This European colt won a Group II easily, then was third by a head in a Group I. He has four wins, two seconds and a third from seven starts.

SHANG SHANG SHANG: Wesley Ward filly won a maiden race at Keeneland before capturing a Group II stakes vs. colts in Great Britain.

STRIKE SILVER: Won a $200,000 stakes in an impressive turf debut.

Saver: Moonlight Romance.

Juvenile Fillies Turf
NEWSPAPEROFRECORD: Two-for-two Chad Brown filly won a Grade II stakes by 6 1/4 lengths at even money in last.

HERMOSA: Irish filly was a strong second as the 5-2 favorite in a Group I stakes.

THE MACKEM BULLET: Irish invader was second by a neck in a Group I stakes at 23-1 in last.

CONCRETE ROSE: Upped her record to two-for-two with a two-length score in a Grade II stakes at Keeneland.

Saver: Just Wonderful.

Juvenile Fillies
BELLAFINA: Has won a Grade 2 stakes and a pair of Grade 1 stakes by daylight.

SERENGETI EMPRESS: Followed a 13 1/2 length romp in an ungraded stakes at Ellis Park with a 19 1/4 length romp in a Grade II stakes at Churchill Downs.

RESTLESS RIDER: Impressive score in a Grade I stakes at Keeneland in last made her three-for-four with one second.

SIPPICAN HARBOR: Two-length romp in the Grade I Spinaway Stakes was her second straight victory.

Saver: Jaywalk.

Juvenile Turf
ANTHONY VAN DYCK: After winning three straight, including a Group II stakes, this Irish colt was second and third in a pair of Group I stakes.

LINE OF DUTY: Handy Group II victory in France was his second straight.

CURRENT: Gamely won his second straight in a Grade III stakes at Keeneland.

FORTY UNDER: Won his second straight in a Grade II stakes.

Saver: Henley’s Joy.

GAME WINNER: Baffert colt won his second straight Grade I stakes by 4 1/2 lengths at 1-5 to improve to three-for-three.

CODE OF HONOR: Rallied to finish a strong second in the Grade I Champagne Stakes at 14-1. His odds will plummet today.

COMPLEXITY: Won the Champagne wire-to-wire by three lengths to improve to two-for-two for Chad Brown.

KNICKS GO: Won a Grade I stakes at Keeneland on the front end with Lasix added.

Saver: Gunmetal Gray.

BEST BET: Newspaperofrecord, Juvenile Fillies Turf.

BEST LONGSHOT: So Perfect, Juvenile Turf Sprint.
