SARATOGA COUNTY - Firefighters worked to free a driver trapped in his vehicle after a Monday afternoon rollover on the Northway.

The driver appeared conscious at the scene and state police later reported no major injuries.

The one-car crash happened on Interstate 87 northbound, just south of Exit 17 in Wilton, near the Moreau line.

The Wilton Fire Department responded to the scene and could be seen working to get the driver out. The car ended up on the driver's side. One firefighter could be seen holding what appeared to be a neck brace.

State police were investigating. Further information was not immediately available. 

Moreau EMS, along with Gansevoort and South Glens Falls firefighters assisted.
