CLIFTON PARK - A Tuesday evening Northway traffic stop led to the arrest of Two Vermont women on felony drug charges, state police said.
Troopers stopped the northbound car shortly after 9 p.m. near Exit 11. Inside the car, troopers found drugs and drug paraphernalia, state police said. A release did not identify the drugs allegedly found.
Troopers identified those arrested as Stefani Crouse, 44, and Kiara Gonzales, 21, both of Danby, Vt.
They both face two counts each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies. They also face two counts of misdemeanor seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of a hypodermic instrument, misdemeanors.
They also face violations of unlawful possession of marijuana and having controlled substances in a non-original container.
