Police: Schenectady man subjected child to sex act, threats
He remains held without bail

SCHENECTADY -- A man who police said forced a child to perform a sex act and threatened to harm the child's family if the child refused is facing charges.
Davo Ramjiwan, 23, of Schenectady, faces one count each of first- and second-degree criminal sexual act, both felonies, according to city police. Ramjiwan was arrested on Friday.
He is accused of physically forcing a child younger than 15 to perform the sex act on him on Nov. 2 in Schenectady, according to court documents.
If convicted of the top count, Ramjiwan could face up to 25 years in state prison.
He remained in Schenectady County Jail without bail on Wednesday, police said.
