CLIFTON PARK -- A Rome man was arrested in November on charges that accuse him of threatening a Clifton Park Target employee with a knife and stealing merchandise.
Mark A. Russitano, 33, was arrested Saturday by New York State Police. The incident that prompted the arrest happened on Nov. 25, after state police in Clifton Park responded to a call from the Target store, troopers said.
An investigation revealed a man threatened the employee with a knife while stealing property, before fleeing from the store, troopers said.
Witness accounts and video surveillance at the store allowed police to identify Russitano as the perpetrator. He was located and charged with first-degree robbery, a felony, and two counts of menacing, troopers said.
Russitano was arraigned in Clifton Park Town Court and was sent to the Saratoga County Jail to await further court proceedings.
