Kara Cataldo bowled a 534 as the Ballston Spa girls’ bowling team defeated Niskayuna 19-13 in the Suburban Council on Thursday.

In other Suburban Council matches, Kimberly Harichand rolled a 255-619 to lead Schenectady past Averill Park 25-7, Bethlehem defeated Saratoga Springs 21-11 and Columbia got past Colonie 19-13 behind a 244-624 from Abby Fruiterman.

On the boys’ side, Columbia’s Jason Hahn rolled a 269-713 in a 21-11 victory over Colonie; Mykal Brunelle bowled a 710, and Willis Bickford also topped 700 with a 706, as South Glens Falls defeated Broadalbin-Perth 4-0; Owynn Arnold rolled a 268-707 to lead Hoosick Falls past Mechanicville 3-1; and Frank Aiello’s 671 helped Shaker down Schenectady 24-8.

Micaela Barbolt (630) and Timmy Barrett (616) helped Saratoga Catholic sweep Hoosic Valley 4-0.

Jacob Dillenbeck (226-642) was the top bowler for Schenectady, Jaret Benedetto led Colonie with a 647 and Josh Kalwasinski rolled a 236-639 for Mechanicville.
