Skiers at Gore Mountain in the Adirondacks had an exciting morning when they were stuck on the gondola Friday morning.

Rescuers used ropes to evacuate seven individuals from the Northwoods Gondola, according to Gore Mountain officials. The incident happened around 9:15 a.m.

Saratoga Springs resident Mark Parobeck was among those stuck in one of the three gondola cabins. The co-owner of Beck's Tavern at the foot of Gore, Parobeck took it in stride and even had a little fun with it. On a posting on his wife's Facebook page, Parobeck included a photo of him dangling halfway down a rope with the words SAY CHEESE across the photo.
