Mekeel Christian Academy knocked down 17 3-pointers, and the Lions’ strong defense limited Ballston Spa to four single-digit quarters en route to an 80-28 non-league victory Friday night.

Jason Winfield (18), Al Barnhill (17) and Mike Show (14) led the way for the 9-3 Lions.

Latyce Faison netted 22 points in Troy’s 90-73 Suburban Council victory over host Schenectady.

Lateef Johnson and Nazaire Merritt poured in 19 points apiece for the Flying Horses. Jahsean Haggray tallied 16 points, and Kayshawn Cruz scored 15 for Schenectady.

Jake Reinisch pumped in 24 points to lead Shenendehowa (6-3, 7-5) to a 48-35 win over Colonie.

Bethlehem closed out the game with a 15-5 fourth-quarter run and stopped host Christian Brothers Academy 62-54.

Michael Ortale scored 20 points, and Justin Barnes added 16 for the Eagles. Jordan King carried the Brothers’ offense with 36 points.

Tyrell Monroe topped five double-figure scorers with 24 points, as Albany survived a 34-23 fourth-quarter surge by Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake and held off the Spartans 81-77.

Alex Jameson scored 18 for the Spartans.

In the Colonial Council, Lansingburgh ripped Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 80-41.

Duncan Tallman’s 15 points topped four players in double digits, as Mohonasen topped Catholic Central 66-50.

Nicholas Richmond (13), Shawn Gillisslee (12) and Logan Calkins (10) also had double digits for the Mighty Warriors. Jackson Brown scored a game-high 30 for the Crusaders.

Schalmont thumped visiting Voorheesville 73-49 behind 38 points from Shane O’Dell, who cracked the 1,000-point mark for his career.

Matt Boyle registered 21 points, and Trey Stover added 123 in Johnstown’s 61-58 win over Scotia-Glenville in the Foothills Council.

Andrew LeMorta scored 15 for the Tartans, who closed with a 19-15 fourth-quarter run.

Queensbury crushed Hudson Falls 61-34.

Gloversville bounced Amsterdam 67-54 behind Dante Bouchard’s 30 points.

Nick Budeshein’s 19 points led four double-digit scorers in Schuylerville’s 65-40 win over South Glens Falls.

Joseph Girard III poured in 56 points to power Glens Falls over Broadalbin-Perth 94-67.

In the Wasaren League, Tyler Dion and Devin Garland each connected for 12 points, as five players scored in twin figures during Mechanicville’s 73-56 win over Cambridge.

Hoosick Falls beat Hoosic Valley 54-33 for its 46th straight Wasaren League victory behind Jon Kempf’s 16 points.

Waterford-Halfmoon beat Greenwich 39-34.

Trevor Gifford found the range for 25 points, and Garrett Delaney tallied 19 in Mayfield’s 63-49 Western Athletic Conference win over Galway.

Jack Brundage scored 18 points, including 10-for-11 from the line, to spark OESJ past visiting Northville 52-46.

Jason Ellsworth and T.J. Wadsworth scored 17 and 15 points, respectively, for Northville.

Luke VanSlyke netted 26 points to power Canajoharie over Duanesburg 73-59.

The 1-2 punch of Rodney Parker (27 points) and Lorenzo Marchisio (23) powered Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons over Berne-Knox-Westerlo 82-64. Zeke Pulliam scored 29 for BKW.

Jackson Atty scored 25 points in Fonda-Fultonville’s 53-40 win over Fort Plain.
