The fourth annual Schenectady Soup Stroll will be held Saturday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. at several locations throughout the city’s downtown area.

A total of 27 restaurants are participating in the event, including Mexican Radio, 20 North, Bombers Burrito Bar, the Dilly Bean and Firestone 451.

The public will be able to taste a variety of soups for $1 per 3 oz. serving, and will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite recipe.

For more information visit the 4th annual Schenectady Soup Stroll on Facebook.

Amsterdam’s first citywide SoupFest will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at various locations.

About 20 locations will have soups to sample. Samples will be $1 for a 3-ounce portion.

Attendees do not have to purchase tickets in advance; you pay for each sample at the participating locations.

Many of the locations will have specials, entertainment, giveaways and raffles throughout the day.

A soup shuttle will be provided free of charge to help attendees get from location to location.

Participants will then have the opportunity to vote on their favorite soups.

SoupFest guides and maps are available at Amsterdam City Hall and on Facebook and Twitter for the City of Amsterdam Recreation, as well as at amsterdamny.gov.
