SCHENECTADY -- A man is facing charges after he raped a woman and robbed her last week in Schenectady, according to city police.

Richard G. Cohen, 25, of Broadway, was charged Thursday with first-degree rape and second-degree robbery, as well as other charges.

Cohen is accused of raping the woman early Thursday, according to court documents. He and the victim were known to each other, officials said. Police arrested him later Thursday morning.
