LOUDONVILLE — Jason Knox scored nine goals, and Hobart ruined Liam Gleason’s debut as the Siena men’s lacrosse head coach Saturday with a 22-12 non-conference victory at Hickey Field.

Hobart (2-0) had a 15-6 halftime lead.

Mike Reilly had two goals and two assists for the Saints. Keenan Cook added two goals and an assist.

ALBANY — Kendra Harbinger scored four times, and the Great Danes overcame a four-goal second-half deficit in head coach Katie Rowan’s debut to beat the Bulldogs in the season opener for both tams at Casey Stadium.

Haily Carroll added three goals for UAlbany, and Sam Tortora had two goals and three assists.

“It’s such a great feeling to get the win today,” Rowan said. I’m so proud of the girls’ effort, they’ve been working so hard and I’m so happy for them.”

NEW YORK — Orna Madigan scored with 21 seconds left in the game, capping a three-goal rally that lifted the Lions past the Saints in the teams’ season opener.

Kerry Gerety and Nicole McNeely each had three goals and an assist for Siena. Kaitlyn Dowsett also scored three times for the Saints.
