GUILDERLAND - An Albany resident threatened another man with a handgun Saturday in the Crossgates Mall parking lot, police said.

The man did not fire and no injuries were reported, police said.

Police responded to the 1:50 p.m. and arrested Carlos X. Quinones Jr., age unavailable, of 32 Fuller Terrace, Albany. Quinones faces one count of second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.

A police release did not address whether officers recovered the handgun. The only charge identified in the release was the misdemeanor menacing count.
