SCHENECTADY - Two Schenectady men have been arrested on weapons counts, authorities said.
Michael J. Dzieniszewski, 31, faces two counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a firearm and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies.
Dzieniszewski is accused of illegally selling a stolen handgun with a fully loaded 10-round magazine at a Carrie Street address Feb. 11 for cash and cocaine, according to state police allegations filed in court.
He was arraigned and ordered held.
In the other case, Henry A. Faulkner, Jr., 55, of Schenectady, faces one count each of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of a narcotic drug, felonies, along with misdemeanor drug possession counts.
Faulkner is accused of possessing a handgun reported stolen last month. Investigators found the handgun as they executed a search warrant at a Craig Street address Feb. 6. Investigators also uncovered crack cocaine, morphine pills, pipes with cocaine residue, a syringe containing what was believed to be heroin and foil and cardboard containing heroin powder residue, according to the allegations.
Faulkner was also arraigned and ordered held.
