LOUDONVILLE — The Siena men’s lacrosse team scored the game’s first six goals and had an 8-1 lead after the first quarter as it opened MAAC play Tuesday with a 17-10 victory over St. Bonaventure at Hickey Field.

The Saints (1-0 MAAC, 3-2 overall) won their second straight.

The Bonnies (0-3, 0-5)went on a 4-0 run to start the second quarter and cut the Saints’ lead to 8-5. But Siena scored the next five goals to take a 13-5 advantage at halftime.

Ten players scored goals for the Saints. Jack Kiernan and Dylan Pantalone led the way with three goals each, with Pantalone adding an assist. Keenan Cook had two goals and three assists, while Mike Reilly collected two goals and an assist.
