Kristina Koes was a three-event champion, a handful of Niskayuna athletes doubled and the Silver Warriors earned the girls’ team title Saturday at the NY/PA Invitational at Windsor High School.

Niskayuna scored 158 points, while runner-up Corning totaled 85.

Koes joined Maddie Beltramo, Charlotte Kokernak and Alexa Smith for a victory in the 1,600-mete relay (4:15.37) and also prevailed in the 400 (60.53) and long jump (16-2 1/4). Kokernak placed first in the 1,500 (4:51.72).

Zoe Harris, Marissa Wise, Lindsey Matthews and Kaleigh West joined for a win in the 400 relay (50.12), while Harris copped the 200 (27.15) and Wise was best in the 100 hurdles (16.18). Liyat Kebbede won 3,000 (10:33.69) and joined Skyler Smith, Lilly O’Connell and Orit Shiang for a victory in the 3,200 relay (10:06.13).

Maddy Hesler was first in the 2,000 steeplechase (7:29.94), ahead of Kate Hesler (7:51.37)

The Niskayuna boys placed fourth (44) after getting wins from Marty Dolan in the 3,000 steeplechase (9:49.01) and Tom Ragone in the 1,600 (4:26.19). Dolan also placed second in the 3,200 (9:31.06).

Maddi Relyea of Mayfield/Northville and Angel Sanchez of Amsterdam earned athlete of the meet honors at the Ken Smith Bi-County Invitational. Relyea won the 800 (2:31.5) and 1,500 (5:04.5) and anchored a first-place 3,200 relay (10:39.7). Sanchez won the 200 (23.9) and long jump (18-8), and was part of a first-place 400 relay (46.7).

The female track athlete of the meet was Gabby Stanavich of Amsterdam, who swept the hurdle events (15.1, 69.3) and ran legs on triumphant 400 (52.5) and 1,600 relays (4:26.1). The male track athletes of the meet were Marcos Santiago of Amsterdam who won both hurdle events (15.8, 60.4) and helped in a second-place 1,600 relay victory, and Sebastian Mills of Johnstown, who won the 1,600 (4:50.3), 3,200 (10:22.52) and was part of a first-place 1,600 relay (3:38.6).

Field athlete of the meet were Hailey Parotti of Broadalbin-Perth, who won triple jump (32-9 3/4) and was the long jump runner-up, and Aiden DeJong of Broadalbin-Perth, who won the shot put (49-5 1/2) and discus (136-8).

Jake Howard won 22 of 23 faceoffs, and Connor White had four goals and two assists to lead Queensbury over Troy 17-4 in a non-league game.
Paul Wright had three goals and two assists for the Spartans. Nic Weaver had a hat trick for the Flying horses.

Abby Danson scored three goals for Shenendehowa, and McKenzie Ballard had two goals and two assists.

Mike Hicks pitched four-hit, shutout ball over six innings as CBA beat Troy 4-0 in a Suburban Council game.

Galway rallied from a two-run deficit to beat Canajoharie 10-4 in the Western Athletic Conference.

Ryan Yandow went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI to lift Schuylerville over Hoosic Valley 14-3 in a non-legaue game.
