HALFMOON - A Colonie man is facing a felony drug charge after a traffic stop last week in Halfmoon, Saratoga County sheriff's officials said.

Caleb B. Witherbee, 28, of 255 Consaul Road, faces one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Saratoga County sheriff's deputies stopped Witherbee at about 1:46 p.m. Wednesday in Halfmoon, discovered drugs and charged him, sheriff's officials said Monday.

Witherbee is accused of possessing drugs with intent to sell them, officials said.

He was arraigned and ordered held on bail. He is due back in court later.
