Sydney McPartlon had three goals to lead Niskayuna to a 9-8 Suburban Council girls’ lacrosse victory over Shenendehowa Thursday. Peyton Reihs had two goals and an assist for Niskayuna, Cassidy Harvey added two goals. Grace Paliwodzinski had three goals and an assist for Shenendehowa.  

Ciara Mazzone scored eight goals to lead Columbia to a 15-10 victory over Shaker. 

MK Lescault had five goals and three assists to lead Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake to a 22-3 victory over Colonie. Ella Blesi scored five goals and had an assist for Burnt Hills. 

Sarah Rule scored six goals and had an assist to lead Ballston Spa to a 14-9 victory over Guilderland. Jordan Ostrander scored four goals had two assists. Amanda Nieman scored four goals for Guilderland. 

Suzie Smith scored five goals and added an assist to lead Holy Names to a 16-1 Colonial Council victory over Emma Willard.  

Marley Mclellan and Lillian Hickey each had four goals to lead Hoosick Falls to a 13-8 victory over Cohoes. 

Sarah Richardson scored seven goals to lead Albany Academy to a 15-4 victory over Catholic Central.

Drew Collins scored five goals to lead Niskayuna to a 24-1 Suburban Council victory over Troy. Finn McCullouch contributed four goals and two assists for Niskayuna. 

Freddie Smith scored five goals and had four assists to lead CBA to a 22-3 victory over Averill Park. 

Spencer Flansburg had three goals and two assists to lead Saratoga Springs to a 16-2 victory over Albany.  

Jake Koonzelak scored four goals and had an assist to lead Ballston Spa to a 16-8 victory over Guilderland.  

Sam Benedetto scored four goals and had three assists to lead Queensbury to a 14-2 Foothills Council victory over Scotia-Glenville.

Ella Hammes and Sophia Caputo had two hits and two RBI each to lead Shenendehowa to a 11-2 Suburban Council victory over Saratoga Springs. Madison Chandler had a two-run home run for Saratoga Springs. 

MacKenzie Konik had  a single and three-run homer to lead Burnt Hills to a 10-6 victory over Niskayuna. 

Megan LaPlante went 3 for 4 to lead Cohoes to a 5-4 Colonial Council victory over Cobleskill-Richmondville. 

Ashlee McCabe had two doubles and a grand slam to lead Catholic Central to a 12-1 victory over Holy Names. 

Emma Scheitinger went 3 for 3 had a triple and two RBI to lead Ichabod Crane to a 7-0 victory over Lansingburgh. 

Abigail McMeel pitched a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts, Leilah Mariposa went 3 for 3 with a home run and two RBI and Katrina Catellier went 2 for 3 with a home run and five RBI to lead Doane Stuart to a 14-0 Central Hudson Valley League victory over Bishop Maginn. 

Michaela Stockwell pitched a two hitter and had two doubles and two RBI to lead Fort Plain OESJ to a 15-1 Western Athletic Conference victory over Northville. 

Emma Smith had a triple and three singles with two RBI to lead Galway to a 15-8 victory over Berne-Knox-Westerlo. Kaylee Bagdan added three singles and three RBI for Galway.  

Kelly Mayotte had 15 strikeouts, and Megan Charnews had a solo home run in the sixth to lead Scotia-Glenville to a 2-0 Foothills Council victory over Amsterdam. 

Mollie Krug had four hits and to lead Canajoharie to a 10-7 non-league victory over Cooperstown. Mackenzie Bowerman added three hits for Canajoharie.

BASEBALL 

James Murphy and Chris Erickson hit back-to-back home runs in the sixth inning to lift Niskayuna over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 4-2 in a Suburban Council game.

Jack Murray had a triple and earned a save for Niskayuna after Cole Hedden struck out nine and gave up an unearned run over the first six innings. 

Brendan Disonell collected two singles and an RBI, and Evan Jones pitched a two-hitter as Shenendehowa edged Saratoga Springs 3-1. Jake Reinisch and Chase Carroll also drove in runs for the Plainsmen. Christian Kondo doubled for the Blue Streaks.

Guilderland beat Schenectady 8-2 behind Brenden Harris, who knocked in three runs with a homer and two singles, and John O’Brien, who gave up two hits and struck out nine in five innings for his first varsity win. Greg Farone paced Schenectady with a double, single and two runs scored.

Josh Bein had a double, single, three runs and two RBI as part of Bethlehem’s 10-9 win over Columbia. Carmen Erno homered, singed, scored twice and totaled three RBI for Columbia.

Peter O’Toole had two hits with a double, and Anthony Carroll had two RBI in CBA’s 5-4 win over Albany.

Jonathan Cafarella went 2 for 3 and got the win in relief as Mohonasen held off Schalmont 2-1 in a Colonial Council game.

Kellen Chowenhill pitched a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts, and Alex Sapienza, Joey Saia and Alex Hoenih each had two hits and an RBI as Lansingburgh beat Watervliet 13-0 in five innings.

Max Insogna struck out 10, and Owen Graf and Kendrick Jackson hit RBI singles in Mayfield’s 6-2 Western Athletic Conference win at Duanesburg.

Christian Hines pitched five shutout innings, and Eric Malanoski had two singles and an RBI in Galway’s 2-0 victory over Berne-Knox-Westerlo. 

Justin Maxon went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI as part of Hoosic Valley’s 10-4 Wasaren League win over Tamarac.

Ross Garrow and Nick Winslow both went 2 for 3, with Garrow hitting a triple and double as Saratoga Catholic beat Cambridge 15-4 and completed a Wasaren League sweep.

Saratoga Catholic beat Greenwich earlier Thursday 8-1 when Ryan McCarroll spun a five-hitter and Dylan Custer went 3-for-3.

Jack Marsden had three hits and three RBI, and Broadalbin-Perth beat Fonda-Fultonville in a non-league game 17-1.
