Isabella Bruno swept the jumping events in leading Guilderland to the large-school team title Saturday at the 14th annual Lady Eagles Invitational at Bethlehem.

The Guilderland senior won the high jump (5-0), long jump (16-11 1/4) and triple jump (37 1/2), schoolmate Melody Yu was first in the 1,500 race walk, and the Dutchmen used their depth in amassing 312 points.

Mohonasen athletes notched four victories, with Emma Sinisgalli taking the 800 (2:22.53), Natalie Sawyer winning the 300 hurdles (47.69), Lena Calkins prevailing in the pole vault (10-0), and Sinisgalli and Sawyer joining Navi Shaw and Zionna Perez-Tucker in a triumphant 1,600 sprint medley relay (4:21.25). 

Ama Boham of small-school team champion Ichabod Crane won the 100 (12.68) and 100 high hurdles (15.63).

ALBRIGHT INVITATIONAL

Cam Fearn of host Albany Academy won the 100 (11.1) and 200 (24.2), and helped the Cadets take the 400 relay (47.3), at the Albright Invitational.

Fearn was selected the top track athlete at the meet after leading the Cadets to the team title, and James Cocca of Averill Park earned top field laurels after winning the shot put (48-6) and discus (151-0).

Peter Hansen of Ballston Spa won the 400 hurdles (57.9) and helped the Scotties take first in the 1,600 relay (3:40.1) and 3,200 relay (9:13.6). Ben Guerin was part of that winning 3,200 relay and copped the 1,600 (4:40.1).

Donald Jones of Albany Academy won the 110 hurdles (15.9) and ran a leg on the Cadets’ 400 relay.

NEW YORK RELAYS

Saratoga Springs athletes picked up four wins at the New York Relays at Icahn Stadium in New York City. Kelsey Chmiel was first in the 3,000 (9:45.95) ahead of teammate Ella Kurto (9:57.27), Kurto prevailed in the one mile race (5:00.63), Anna Evans was best in the high jump (5-4), and Shea Weilbaker (4:21.40) won the boys’ one mile event ahead of schoolmate Ezra Ruggles (4:24.21).

Mia D’Ambrosio of Schalmont won the 400 (56.86). Noah Tindale of Guilderland was second in the 800 (1:54.38), A.J. Weinstein of Columbia was second in the triple jump (46-10 1/2), and Columbia’s 3,200 boys’ relay was second (8:12.18) ahead of Saratoga (8:12.23).

Drew Collins scored four goals and had an assist, Brock Behrman had two goals and three assists and Griffin King had two goals and an assist to lead Niskayuna past Greenwich 14-8.
