Antonio Rossetti scored four goals and had two assists, and Lucas Bennice had four goals and one assist as Ballston Spa defeated Colonie 19-3 Saturday in a Suburban Council boys’ lacrosse game.

Spencer Flansburg’s four goals lifted Saratoga Springs past Guilderland 10-6.

Shenendehowa defeated Columbia 10-7 led by Eric Makhatadze’s three goals and two assists.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE

McKenzie Ballard had four goals and four assists, and Grace Palowodzinski had four goals and three assists to lead Shenendehowa past Columbia 17-8 in a Suburban Council girls’ lacrosse game.

Annabelle Conover and Ava Schroeder each scored three goals and one assist to lift Niskayuna over Shaker 19-4.

Ella Payer scored six goals and had three assists as Saratoga Springs beat Guilderland 17-7.

Averill Park defeated Albany 16-3 behind Mia Tessitore’s four goals and two assists.

BASEBALL

Guilderland split a pair of non-league games, losing to Suffern 2-1 and beating Clarkstown South 8-1. Brenden Harris had a triple and single in the win, while Dallas Seyler added a double and single. Brian Tietjen had two doubles against Suffern.

SOFTBALL

Columbia edged Roy C. Ketchum 6-5 in a non-league game, led by Missy Daigneault’s double and Maeve Marra’s pair of singles.

John Jay/East Fishkill beat Columbia 12-8. Columbia was led by Hannah Scarano and Taylor O’Brien each with a double and two singles, and Grace Bayly with a double and a single.

TRACK AND FIELD

The Niskayuna girls won the Waite Molnar Invitational with 169 points.

Skyler Smith finished first in the 2,000 steeple chase with a time of 7:29.36.

Other individual first-place finishers were Julia Doriski in the 100 dash in 13.55, Marissa Wise in the 400 hurdles in 1:07.64, Kristina Koes in the 200 with a time of 27.36, Madeleine Hesler in the 3,000 in 10:35.20, Kristina Koes in the long jump with a mark of 17 feet  5 3/4 inches and Grace Minkin in the triple jump with a mark of 10.36 meters.

In the 400 relay, the team of Ainsley Filkins, Alexa Smith, Mikayla Bechtel, and Rayna Parzych finished first in 55.11.

The Niskayuna boys finished sixth. Marty Dolan won two events for the Silver Warriors, the 3,000 steeplechase in 9:46.79 and the 3,200 in 9:36.90.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk’s Shane Racey won the Boys’ pole vault at the Penn Relays, jumping 15 feet, 5 inches.
