Body found in car in Schenectady supermarket parking lot

SCHENECTADY -- The Schenectady Police Department found a person dead in the parking lot of the 1640 Eastern Parkway Price Chopper Saturday evening. 

Police spokesman Sgt. Matthew Dearing said the body of a man "in his 30s" was found in a car in the parking lot.

Police do not believe the death is suspicious, Dearing said. Police were working to notify next of kin late Saturday. Dearing did not immediately release further details.
