COLONIE - A Schenectady man drove drunk in Interstate 787 Saturday, struck a concrete median and ran off the shoulder of the road, state police said Monday.

The driver, identified as Charles L. Manley, Jr., 39, was taken to the hospital for a minor injury suffered in the crash, state police said.

Manley is accused of driving drunk just after 7 p.m. near Exit 9W. Responding troopers found his car off the road and determined him to be intoxicated.

His blood alcohol content tested at 0.20 percent, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08, state police said.

Manley faces one count each of aggravated driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, misdemeanors.
