CLIFTON PARK - A Malta man tried to break into a Clifton Park gas station earlier this month, state police said.

Troopers Friday arrested Harrison Williams, 19, of Malta and charged him with one count each of third-degree attempted burglary and third-degree criminal mischief, felonies.

Williams is accused of trying to break into the USA gas station on Fire Road early May 11, damaging a glass door and window in the process, troopers said.

Williams was arrested and released to appear in court later, troopers said.
