Public's help sought to find missing Schenectady 14-year-old

Public's help sought to find missing Schenectady 14-year-old

SCHENECTADY - City police are asking the public's help in finding a missing 14-year-old Schenectady boy.

Aamir G. Thomas was last seen Wednesday and is described as a runaway.

Aamir was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a Pac Man logo, ripped blue jeans and grey Vans sneakers, according to the New York Missing Persons Clearinghouse.

He is believed to be in the local Schenectady area or he may have traveled to Poughkeepsie, according to the clearinghouse.

Aamir is described as 5 feet tall, weighing 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Aamir's whereabouts is asked to contact city police at 518-630-0911 or the state clearinghouse at 1-800-346-3543.
