The group includes four forwards, four defensemen and one goaltender.

"We are extremely excited about the depth of this year's class and feel each one of these student-athletes will be a great addition to the RPI community, both on and off the ice," Smith said in a press release. "We have increased our skill level and our overall team depth with these new additions."

The group consists of Tristan Ashbrook (forward, Manistique, Michigan); Cory Babichuk (defense, Edmonton, Alberta); Alec Calvaruso (goaltender, Livonia, Michigan); Zach Dubinsky (forward, Highland Park, Illinois); Louie Helsen (defense, Dallas, Texas); Rory Herrman (forward, Poway, California); Simon Kjellberg (defense, Nashville, Tennessee); Mason Klee (defense, Morrison, Colorado); and Ryan Mahshie (forward, Stoney Creek, Ontario).
