Haven't gotten your "Hamilton" tickets yet? Try the lottery.
Producer Jeffrey Seller and Proctors announced today that digital lotteries for discounted tickets will begin on Aug. 11. Forty tickets for every performance will be sold for $10 each.
The first digital lottery begins at 11 a.m. on Sat. Aug. 11. Winners will be able to purchase the $10 tickets for the performance on Aug. 13. Subsequent lotteries will begin two days ahead of each performance. Since "Hamilton" runs from Aug. 13-25 Proctors, there are a few chances to win.
To enter, people can visit hamiltonmusical.com/lottery or the official "Hamilton" app on iOS and Android devices. Each lottery will open at 11 a.m. two days ahead of the performance and will close at 9 a.m. on the day before the performance. The winner and non-winner notifications will be sent at 11 a.m. on the day before the performance via email and text message. Each winner can purchase up to two tickets. The tickets have to be purchased online with a credit card by 4 p.m. the day before the performance, using the purchase link and code sent in an email. Tickets not purchased by that time will be forfeited.
Lottery tickets can be picked up at Proctors will call starting two hours ahead of the performance. Winners must have a valid photo ID to pick up the tickets.
There is no cost to enter the lottery.
Additional rules via Proctors:
- Only one entry per person. Repeat entries and disposable email addresses will be discarded.
- Patrons must be 18 years or older and have a valid, non-expired photo ID that matches the name used to enter. Tickets are non-transferable. Ticket limits and prices displayed are at the sole discretion of the show and are subject to change without notice.
- Lottery prices are not valid on prior purchases. Lottery ticket offer cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions. All sales final - no refunds or exchanges. Lottery may be revoked or modified at any time without notice. No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve the chances of winning.
- Tickets for "Hamilton" are currently on sale. Patrons are advised to check the official "Hamilton" channels and Proctors.org for late release seats which may become available at short notice.
