ALBANY - A driver stopped for speeding in a school zone was found with a forged inspection sticker, state police said.

The incident happened this week in Albany, state police said.

Hakeem A. Butts, 27, city of residence unavailable, was pulled over for speeding in the school zone, as well as failing to stop at a stop sign, troopers said.

While examining Butts' car, the trooper spotted an inspection sticker that proved forged, state police said.

Butts was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony. He was then released to appear in court later.
