Severe thunderstorm warnings expire for parts of Schenectady, Saratoga, Fulton, Montgomery counties

ALBANY - The National Weather Service-issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Schenectady, Saratoga, Montgomery and Fulton Counties have expired.

The storm could produce winds up to 70 mph and hail up to a penny size, the service said. The warning expired at 5:15 p.m.

The warning area includes central Schenectady County, southwestern Saratoga County, southestern Fulton County and southeastern Montgomery County, the service said.

The warning follows others for parts of Montgomery and Fulton counties that expired at 4:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.
