SCHENECTADY - City police are investigating shots fired Monday night in the city's Bellevue neighborhood, police said.

No injuries were reported.

The incident happened in the area of Fairview Avenue and Sixth Street just before 9 p.m.

Police recovered shell casings at the scene, police spokesman Sgt. Matthew Dearing said.

Gazette news gathering partner CBS6 obtained surveillance video of the incident, which showed two cars and three people running.

The shooting remained under investigation Wednesday, Dearing said.
