Packers, Bears open league's 100th anniversary season

The NFL season kicks off with the traditional Thursday night game. Usually, the defending Super Bowl champions play in it. However, since the NFL is celebrating its 100th anniversary, the league's two oldest franchises, the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers, will play the first game.

Here are the games and where they will be televised. Announcers, in order of play-by-play, analyst and sideline reporter, are in parentheses.

NBC13 (WNYT) -- Green Bay at Chicago, 8:20 p.m. (Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth, Michele Tafoya).
