SARATOGA SPRINGS -- The Saratoga County Libertarian Party has nominated several candidates to run on the Libertarian line in this November's local elections.
The party announced Friday that in Saratoga Springs, it endorsed Robin Dalton for commissioner of public safety and Stephen Mittler for county supervisor representing the city. Both are also Republican party nominees.
In Wilton, the party endorsed Ray O'Conor for Town Board, Kirk Woodcock for highway superintendent, and David Towne and Matthew Coseo for town justices. They are all also Republican candidates.
"In the end, we felt that these candidates best represented the Libertarian values of smaller government and more personal freedom," said Rob Arrigo, the party chairman.
