ALBANY — A naked Florida man was accused this past weekend of burglarizing a state office building in Albany, state police said.
The incident began just after 8 p.m. Friday at 40 N. Pearl St., state police said.
Troopers responded there on a report that someone had illegally entered the building, pulled multiple fire alarms and was causing damage to an office, state police said.
Troopers arrived and found damage to a basement office, as well as evidence that a fire extinguisher had been sprayed for no apparent reason.
A worker on site told the troopers of encountering the individual on an upper floor and said that he wasn't wearing any clothes.
Troopers soon located discarded clothing and the ID card of Porter G. Denson, Jr., 34, of Davenport, Florida.
Denson was later taken into custody running naked in the street, state police said.
He was charged with one count each of third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief, felonies.
He was arraigned and ordered held in lieu of $1,500 bail, state police said.
