SARATOGA SPRINGS — The 2019 Saratoga Showcase of Homes begins this weekend.

The annual event is a chance to see the latest in design and construction work by some of the county’s biggest and best-known builders while also boosting charitable causes — the previous 23 showcases have raised a combined total of nearly $1.2 million for local charities.

Proceeds this year will benefit Rebuilding Together Saratoga County and Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties.

The event runs 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 14-15, 21-22 and 28-29 at 10 showcase locations across the county. Many of these homes are in and around Saratoga Springs, but others range as far south as Ballston Lake and as far north as Wilton.

The event is held by the Saratoga Builders Association. Participants are Bella Home Builders, Belmonte Builders, BDC Group, Bonacio Construction, DeGraff Bloom Custom Builders, Heritage Custom Builders, Kodiak Construction, McPadden Builders and Witt Construction.

Also on display will be the handiwork of the next generation of homebuilders: A 220-square-foot Tiny House built by BOCES students as part of a project teaching construction trade skills.

A single $20 ticket allows unlimited admission to all of the homes on all of the days of the showcase. Tickets are available at each of the houses during the hours they are open for tours. They’re also for sale in advance online at www.saratogashowcaseofhomes.com and in person at Adirondack Trust, Catskill Hudson Bank, Saratoga National Bank and Trustco Bank locations; Curtis Lumber; Roohan Realty; The Rebuilding Together Saratoga Store; and The Habitat ReStore.

Additional information, including a map of the ten homes and details about each, is available online at the showcase website.
