SCHENECTADY -- A Rotterdam man faces a felony charge for allegedly possessing concentrated cannabis in a Schenectady traffic stop, state police said Tuesday.

Bruce A. Hathaway, 29, was charged with one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

Troopers stopped him about 4:30 p.m. Saturday on Broadway in Schenectady for a traffic infraction and then found him in possession of approximately 28 grams of the concentrated cannabis oil, they said.

Hathaway was arraigned and released to return to court later.
