High schools: Galway boys' soccer edges OESJ 2-1
Galway beat OESJ 2-1 in a Western Athletic Conference boys' soccer game Wednesday.

Galway held onto a 2-0 halftime lead and foiled an OESJ comeback in a 2-1 Western Athletic Conference boys’ soccer victory Wednesday.

Goals were scored by Braden Boudreau and Konstantin Friederich for Galway. Andrew Snell scored the lone goal for OESJ.  

Lauren Barlow and Kylie Folts each scored a goal to lift Saratoga Springs over Shaker 2-1 in double overtime in a Suburban Council field hockey match. Meg Schramm scored the lone goal for Shaker.

In another Suburban Council game, Kate Davenport scored the lone goal for Bethlehem in a 1-0 victory over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake.
