CLIFTON PARK — Portions of the intersection at Route 146, Route 146A and Vischer Ferry Road in town will be closed during the next three weekends as work continues on a new two-lane roundabout.

The northern leg of the intersection — leading to and from Route 146A — will close at 10 p.m. tonight and will reopen Saturday at 11 p.m. Route 146A motorists can use the posted detour via Kinns Road, Plank Road and Maxwell Drive to reach Route 146.

Traffic traveling on Route 146, and from Vischer Ferry Road onto Route 146, will be reduced to a single alternating lane.

The following weekend, the southern leg of the intersection — leading to and from Vischer Ferry Road — will close at 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, and reopen by Saturday, Sept. 28, at 11 p.m. Vischer Ferry Road motorists can use the posted detour via Clifton Park Center Road and Moe Road to reach Route 146.

During the final weekend, both the northern and southern legs of the intersection will close at 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, and reopen by 11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5.
