SCHENECTADY— A 10-year-old child was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, after being struck by a car Saturday in Schenectady, according to Gazette news gathering partner CBS6.

Schenectady police said it happened just before 5:30 p.m., at the intersection of Albany Street and Winston Place.

The child was taken to Albany Medical Center by Mohawk Ambulance and the Schenectady Police Traffic Division is investigating, the report said.

According to reports, the driver stopped, but no tickets have been issued at this time.
