NORTHAMPTON - A woman was struck and killed in a hit-and-run on Route 30 sometime overnight Saturday to Sunday and state police are asking for the public’s help to find who struck her, state police said.
State police are looking for a red pickup truck with damage to its passenger side headlight assembly, troopers said.
The woman’s body was found Sunday morning near Sacandaga Outdoor Equipment on Route 30, state police said.
A release Sunday afternoon did not identify the woman, but indicated she was 46.
Investigators believe she was struck and killed sometime between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday, state police said.
After striking her, the vehicle left the scene, state police said.
