Elderly need help getting to dentists

The toughest task for our elderly folks is having a bedridden spouse and find she urgently needs dental treatment. With someone disabled who cannot stand or walk on her own, it’s very difficult to find a dental clinic or dentist who will take her, plus the transportation needed to take her.
I searched online for dental clinics and dentists who were taking new patients and I came up empty. I searched for an ambulance or cab company. One ambulance would charge me $2,300 for the one-mile trip to St. Clare’s dental clinic. St. Clare’s’ lead dentist already agreed to accept my wife. None of the van or cab companies would take her. This was a dental appointment, not an emergency.
Finally my insurer agreed to pay for an ambulance, declaring it an emergency. Mohawk Ambulance transported her to the clinic. Staff did a full-mouth x-ray exam and told me several teeth needed work. They gave me a list of oral surgeons to pull her teeth but didn’t expect to do that themselves.
I think my wife could endure having a tooth pulled, but not having them drilled. Only if the pain got so great would we justify taking her. The clinic was helpful, but there isn’t any satisfactory solution when people who can’t walk need this care.

Trump is responsible for his own troubles

To those who feel President Donald Trump is being vilified, look no further than he, himself.
His continued insistence that he knows all regardless of what educated advisers have tried to tell him is egregious.
President Clinton was impeached for much, much less — lying under oath about an affair. Trump more or less trying to bribe Ukraine in order to dig up dirt on Joe Biden for his own personal reasons was so wrong on many levels. And to try and say after the fact that it was about corruption and election interference in 2016? Again, let’s cover for Russia.
Our intelligence agencies have all concluded it was Russia. But he continues to do Russia’s bidding. Why?
This is about Ukraine, yes. But what conversations has Trump had with Putin? They are locked up in a coded server that only very few have access to.
Never has a president had a meeting with an adversarial head of government without a cabinet member present. In Helsinki, they met for over an hour, with only an interpreter. And to date, there’s no transcript to be found. Where’s the interpreter?
Stop bringing up Hillary and Obama. They’re not president, Trump is. The buck stops at his Oval Office desk.
