COLONIE - The Colonie Police Department and Albany County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's help in finding a 77-year-old woman whose car was found abandoned Sunday morning in West Albany, police said.

Beverly A. Trombley is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a red woolly coat and black pants and had glasses and gold jewelry, police said.

Her vehicle was recovered in the area of West Albany Pocket Park on Braintree Street and it appeared to have been there since at least 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Anyone with information or who may have seen Trombley is asked to contact the Albany County Sheriff’s office at (518) 765-2352 or the Colonie Police at (518) 783-2744.
