Amsterdam defeated Broadalbin-Perth 64-35 in a Foothills Council girls' basketball Thursday.

Jackie Stanavich scored 18 points to lead the Amsterdam girls’ basketball team to a 64-35 Foothills Council victory over Broadalbin-Perth in Thursday.

Antonia May added 13 points  and Andie Gannon scored 11 points. Makenzie Smith led Broadalbin-Perth with 12 points. 
In another Foothills Council game, Hope Sullivan scored 19 points to lead Queensbury over Scotia-Glenville 78-27. Abby Doin added 16 points, and Cassidy Ray scored 14 points. Queensbury tied a program record with its 32 points in the third quarter. Meghan O’Connor is now the second on Queensbury’s all-time assists list with 225. Sullivan became the fourth Spartan to collect 200 or more career steals. 

In Suburban Council boys’ bowling, Parker Brown rolled a 300 game to lead Averill Park past Schenectady 21-11.
