ROTTERDAM - An early Wednesday fire destroyed a truck parked in a home's driveway, but firefighters prevented it from seriously damaging the adjacent home, according to information available at the scene.

No injuries were reported.

The fire broke out sometime after midnight in the truck parked in the Caroline Avenue driveway, near Edgewood Avenue.

South Schenectady firefighters responded to the scene and extinguished the blaze. The truck was destroyed. The nearby house sustained cosmetic damage from the heat, but the fire did not extend to the home.
