SCHENECTADY — The Union College women’s hockey team did a good job of keeping most of the Bemidji State players from scoring a goal on Saturday.
But the Dutchwomen couldn’t contain Haley Mack.
Mack scored a natural hat trick, and the Beavers held on for a 3-2 non-conference victory at Messa Rink.
The win gave Bemidji State (11-8-1) a sweep of the two-game weekend series. The Beavers won Friday’s game 2-1.
Bemidji State went 4-0 in the Capital Region thiss eason. The Beavers took two games from RPI at Houston Field House Nov. 29-30.

Mack completed her hat trick with 8:42 in the second, a goal that chased Union starting goalie Bella McKee from the game. Amelia Murray replaced her, and stopped all 13 shots she faced in the game.
