Pittsford won Saturday’s Shenendehowa Holiday Invitational in Clifton Park with 489 points, while host Shenendehowa took second place with 263 and Bethlehem finished in third with 255 at the boys’ swimming and diving event.

Visiting from Section V, Pittsford competitors recorded wins in the 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 500 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay. 

Section II competitors to win events at Saturday’s invitational were Shenendehowa’s Alex Fabris in the 100 freestyle and the Bethlehem team of Max Kaback, John Janeski, Jason Wu and Joey Chiarella in the 200 freestyle relay.

Hagen Foley tallied 23 points as CBA-Albany edged CBA-Syracuse 69-68 in overtime in a boys’ basketball non-league game.

Frank Rainville dropped 38 points, including 23 in the fourth quarter, to lift Columbia over Averill Park 72-60 in another non-league game.

The Mohonasen girls’ indoor rack team took first place in three events at the Hall of Fame Invitational in New York. Kate Sherman set a Mohonasen record in the 3,000-meter invitational by finishing in 10:27.75. In the 3,200-meter relay, the team of Jocelyn Countryman, Emma Sinisgalli, Sherman, and Natalia Sawyer finished first in 10:09.06. Sawyer also captured first in the 400-meter dash in 59.12 seconds.

Columbia, led by first-place finishes by Nikko Walsh (132), Jacob Slovak (138) and Michael Altomer (195) won the J. Alvarez Memorial Wrestling Tournament in the Bronx.
