GUILDERLAND - A Christmas Eve fight caught on camera at Crossgates Mall remained under investigation Thursday, police said.

No arrests had been made as of mid-day Thursday, but investigators were following up on leads, Deputy Guilderland Police Chief Curtis Cox said.

Police were called to the area of the Beef Jerky Outlet, on the second floor of the mall near the Starbucks for a report of a group fighting just after 4 p.m. Tuesday, Deputy Police Chief Curtis Cox said.

EMS also responded to the scene, but Cox didn't have information as to whether anyone was treated.

The fight was caught on video and posted to Twitter by user @GlockRivers shortly after it was taken.

The 24-second clip has since been viewed more than 2.5 million times, according Twitter numbers.

The video shows the fight spilling from the common area next to the Beef Jerky Outlet store into the store itself. Several people can be seen actively fighting.
