TROY — Goalie Owen Savory made 37 saves and collected his third assist of the season Saturday, leading RPI to a 3-0 ECAC Hockey victory over Colgate at Houston Field House.

Savory got an assist on Daniel DiGrande’s late second-period goal.

Patrick Polino and Chase Zieky scored 1:24 apart late in the first period for the Engineers (6-6-1 ECACH, 9-11-1 overall).

Darcie Lappan scored the only goal the Raiders would need at 15:38 of the first period, and Malia Schneider had three assists.

The Dutchwomen fell to 2-6-3 in ECAC Hockey and 2-16-5 overall, and the Raiders improved to 5-4-1 and 11-9-4.

Amanda Rampado made 44 saves for the Engineers (0-12-0, 0-22-1) to keep it close, and Cornell’s Lindsay Browning made 18 saves to improve to 14-1-2.
