The Saratoga Springs High School gymnastics team hosted the Saratoga Invitational on Saturday at Saratoga Regional YMCA Wilton Branch.

Competing with the Blue Streaks were fellow Suburban Council teams Bethlehem and Guilderland. Each team divided themselves into three or four gymnasts who competed in vault, beam, floor exercise and uneven bars.

Bethlehem won the vault, beam and uneven bars. Saratoga springs captured the floor exercise.

There were no individual or team awards handed out.

Troy Butler dropped 30 points, Trey Nemeck scored 11, and Levi Thomas added 10 to power Fort Plain past Wells 94-42 in a non-league boys’ basketball game.

Jonon White scored 20 points, and Al Barnhill added 15 to lift Mekeel Christian Academy over Bedford Academy 63-60 in a non-league game. Bedford, ranked No. 9 in the state in Class C, was led by Jaden Gilmore with 21 points.

In a non-league girls’ basketball game, Saniaa Wilson scored 19 points, Camille Wright added 16, and Taylor Norris had 12 as Bishop Kearney edged Saratoga Springs 60-57 in overtime. Dolly Cairns netted 22 points, and Tash Chudy added 17 for the Blue Streaks.
