TOWN OF GLEN - A Massachusetts man wanted in Pennsylvania on a charge of attempted homicide has been arrested in Montgomery County, New York State Police said Monday.

State police arrested the man after a traffic stop on the Thruway Saturday, troopers said.

Luis A. Flores-Jimenez, of Worcester, Mass., was stopped for a traffic infraction on the Thruway in Glen just before noon Saturday, state police said.

A check of the driver, Flores-Jimenez, determined he was wanted in Pennsylvania on a charge of criminal attempt-criminal homicide, state police said.

A state police release did not offer further details on the underlying Pennsylvania case.

Flores-Jimenez was arraigned and ordered held without bail. He is awaiting extradition proceedings.
